Gourmet Summerfruit is located in Roxburgh, Central Otago, an established stone fruit growing region. Cold winters in Central Otago enable good winter chilling while warm dry summers are favourable for ripening and fruit harvest. The contrast in temperatures provides the fruit with its outstanding flavour. Given its southern latitude, the region benefits from being the latest producer of cherries in New Zealand.

We have a 32 hectare land dedicated for plating in cherries and a 16 hectare land for blueberries. Both crops are grown outdoors with permanent covers in place to protect the crops from birds and hail damage over the season.
