New Zealand Gourmet started growing and marketing cherries in 2006. With our exceptionally sweet and juicy fruits, we have been receiving a high demand in cherries both locally and internationally each season.
The variety of cherries we grow include: Sweetheart and Kordia.
Central Otago is known for its cold nights and warm summer days which help create the flavor and deep color of our produce. Given its southern hemisphere region, it ensures our crop is picked over January and February which makes us one of the latest producer of stone fruit. With our rapid air freight, we maintain to deliver fresh products all the time.
