New Zealand Gourmet was born in 1982 as a family business and has developed into a well-established, international horticultural operation.
New Zealand Gourmet started out as a small trading company between New Zealand and the USA. Over the years we have developed the Martin’s family operation into our own established company, with steady growth since the early 1980’s. We are located in Auckland, New Zealand with subsidiaries in Japan, Australia and the USA.
With over 30 years of experience in the produce market, we have developed a loyal customer base comprising: large supermarket chains, wholesalers, independent retailers, and produce importers & distributors. Many of our long term staff members have worked with Paul and the Martin family to build the company to where it is today. We are proud of what we have achieved from when we started in 1982.
The ongoing growth of the group through our diversification, expansion and innovation has been significant in becoming a leader in the horticulture industry within New Zealand.
